Vincent Schettler is the Founder and President of the newly formed group of Mosaic Companies.  Prior to Mr. Schettler’s new venture, he served as a Senior Vice President in the land division of Colliers International, the third largest commercial real estate firm in the world. Schettler held this position in the Las Vegas Office from 2013-2018, where he generally worked in his own capacity as a specialist in the acquisition, value creation and disposition of developable land parcels for himself and newly created land investment syndications.  In that timeframe, Schettler acquired over 90 properties for his management portfolio.

Prior to Colliers, Schettler began his career in 1996 at the age of 25 as a land broker trainee at Focus Commercial Group, one of the leading real estate brokerage firms in Nevada at that time. Soon Schettler realized his passion for commercial real estate, specifically land acquisition, entitlements, design and the assemblages of land developments.

During his 16 years with Focus Commercial, Schettler consummating nearly 700 separate land transactions on his way to becoming a partner in many land holding companies. Schettler was a Founding Member of and Board Member of Focus Property Group, which is popular for wining several BLM land auctions in Clark County, including two sales exceeding $500 million each.

Schettler’s first major assemblage was the Nevada Trails master planned community, a 300-acre project that was assembled in partnership with Del Web Coventry division and later sold to and developed by Pardee Homes.

From there, Mr. Schettler embarked on his largest accomplishment, the Mountains Edge Master Planned Community.  Schettler was the visionary for the Mountain’s Edge Master Planned Community from its inception, where he served as the sole acquisitions contact, successfully negotiating more than 300 separate land acquisitions that make up the 3,000-acre master planned community.  Schettler was engaged in all processes for the creation of the award-winning Mountains Edge community, including acquisitions, legal transactions, planning, engineering, finance, budgeting, construction and sales. The Mountains Edge project was certified by Robert Charles Lesser & Company as the No. 1 selling community in America in 2007 and 2008 and top 5 from 2005 to 2010.

Schettler also contributed to many other notable projects, including the 1200-acre Providence MPC, the 1940-acre Inspirada MPC, and was the sole land acquisition during the early stages of the creation of Cactus Hills community, currently being developed by America West, KB, DR Horton. Additionally, Schettler has many other smaller projects to his credit. Over his career, Mr. Schettler has been a part of over $3b in projects, mostly as a partner and brings a current portfolio over $100m to the Mosaic Group. Mr. Schettler is a native of Las Vegas and a graduate of Bishop Gorman High School. He is well known and has developed strong relationships within the real estate and development community, which allows him a clear understanding of local economic and real estate trends in the valley. He has developed strong relationships with the residential and commercial building community.  Schettler has been invited to many speaking engagements and sat on many local governmental planning committees. Mr. Schettler is a cancer survivor of an extremely rare bone cancer and strongly believes in giving back to the community.  Feeling blessed to be alive, he became heavily involved with many local and national charities and has served on the Board of Directors for the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer of Southern Nevada organization for the past 21 years and has also served as the past President.  He founded the Schettler Family Foundation and has also been a member of numerous other charitable boards over the years and participates in numerous charitable functions regularly.
